Big Baby!
I had no idea!!!! How am I supposed to get a good one in half an hour?
It’s 10:42 on Wednesday morning. My wife is pregnant. I am at work. She’s at work. We are both ‘paying the bills’. We are apart, yet we’re together. We are both searching for the meaning of life, always and all ways. We will never stop doing so, because I feel strongly that our souls are on a neverending journey of evolution and the meaning of life is the carrot at the end of the stick. It doesn’t really matter, but without it there is no inherent purpose in sight. So we feel. So we act. So we create.
Parenting is the most underestimated skill or art in the world. Because of the assumption that ‘whoever is pregnant will automatically know how to raise a child’ the world is in the state it is in; derranged.
Correctional facilities are busting at the seems, due to people not knowing how to love. The inability to love ourselves is reflected in the amount of hatred the world has. Hatred is the pure expression of lack of love. People who were not loved when growing up, will ultimately try to find love outside of themselves… in gangs, terrorist organizations, political parties and so on. “Life has become a big high school popularity contest!”… and weapons of mass destruction are invited to the school dance. After all, we want to win no matter what. And that’s the problem. We are no longer interested in playing the game. We want to win. No matter what. But what we don’t realize is that we ultimately will kill ourselves. Why? Because when all the people we want to ‘win’ against are dead, there is no more game. And with no game left, a new one has to be invented. And that’s when even the most dedicated fighter or insurgent will turn on its own people and kill. Why? Cause hatred can only survive when there are victims to hate. Without it, there is no survival. On the same token, love will survive in the same way. It’s only when there is nobody left to love that we can no longer love. But the kicker is that love has the upper hand, due to the fact that love will love hate, but hate refuses to love love.
What is love? - “Accepting a person for who they are and for who they are not!”
The solution: The more people turn their backs on hate and start ‘pulling out’ of the game of hate, the less conflict, the less war there will be. Turn hatred against itself and it will kill itself. Not the ultimate solution, but currently maybe the only way out.
The Silver Spoon that I was born with in my mouth in Switzerland will be deposited in the country of Sudan in the month of July of 08. I am putting behind a past that has been ruled by ego, selfishness, shallowness and self-destruction. But it’s the past and what’s in the past is in the past. So, I will be back with some photos and videos that documented that process… (check back here in early August).
In closing, I would like to thank my wife, my family, my friends and lastly Landmark Education for the love and wisdom that has allowed me to grow and become the kind of human being I am today! Thank you, I love you!
Tati - you are my life partner, my soulmate, my best friend, my lover, the mother of my child and the inspiration to make a difference in the world!
I love you
Roman - July 16th, 2008 (3days left before my trip to Sudan)
